Forget the Countdown - It's Time to roll!

I never thought this day would get here, yet here it is. In a few minutes I'll head out the door, starting this crazy journey.

Weather is clear and it's going to be warm. This morning's Journal Gazette says the police will be all over the roads cracking down on speeders and such. This is a good news/bad news thing for me.
Good news- It keeps the idiots in check.
Bad news - Makes it harder for me to 'make up' lost time.

However, today should be a light mileage day of only about 350 miles or so and leaving this early should put me in Lodi WAY early.

I'm trying not to sound overexcited but it's not working inside my head. Giddyup!
