  1. Gordo---You look good being "Hyderized"!
Great pictures on the way to Red Deer. Some other people must have liked the view too, judging by the dents in the guardrail!

It looks like the $ goal has been met but, people don't have to stop giving.

    Ride safe,

  3. We could have done that in Kalispell. No need to ride all the way to Alaska! LOL

  4. Hey Gordo........what's up with the SAD music playing in the background? Is that part of the hyderization process??? I was nearly crying as a result of it and needed hyderized myself!ha ha

    Be safe!

  5. Myles, you weasel. Thank your for your contribution to CCFA. But you REALLY didn't have to do that. Your contribution was joining me for a couple of days and making sure I stayed safe. Job well done!
Thank you though, it is much appreciated!

  6. Weasel!, Weasel! I'll show you a weasel! well maybe not, this is a family blog. But seriously, I thought it was the least I could do. I spent two days talking to people I just met about Gordon's cause and I spent two nights in free hotel rooms courtesy of GG Rock. I especially liked the one on Bellingham: The Coachman Inn. I am sure that Customer Service is the Number One Bullet point in their business plan. That place was awesome. I hope that your night in the swanky hotel in Regina is as good or better. You must be one tired puppy by now. I would like to challenge the other 63 followers of Gordon's blog to pony up some money for the CCFA. Gordo is really putting it out there. I had no idea how challenging it is to ride that far in so little time. After riding with the Orange Crusader for three days and about a thousand miles, I have a lot of respect for his stamina and resolve. GO GORDO!

  7. Awww, what a nice thing to say! I just finished submitting answers to Cindy Larson at The Fort Wayne News-Sentinel for a follow up story. She asked some great questions, so you'll have to tune in when it's posted.

It's not so much of a challenge when I remember WHY I'm doing this craziness. People who suffer from Crohn's and Colitis really need help. They need a cure. And we won't find one if people (like me) sit around wishing someone else would do something. Man in the Mirror, baby. It all starts with number one. ALthough no one handed it to me, I like Sarah's quote: If you are handed it, you can handle it!!
